Patient Centered Focus and Outcomes

What We Offer

Comprehensive Exam

A comprehensive periodontal examination is a thorough evaluation of the teeth, gums, bone support, bite, and overall oral health. This visit includes review of clinical findings, radiographs or CBCT when indicated, diagnosis, prognosis, and discussion of treatment options tailored to the patient’s needs.

Limited Exam

A limited examination is focused on a specific area of concern, symptom, or referred problem. It is designed to evaluate a localized issue efficiently, provide a diagnosis, and outline next steps for treatment or additional workup when needed.

Crown Lengthening – Functional

Functional crown lengthening is performed to expose additional tooth structure when a tooth is broken, decayed, or otherwise lacks enough visible structure for proper restoration. The goal is to create a healthy, maintainable foundation so the referring doctor can restore the tooth predictably.

Crown Lengthening – Esthetic

Sometimes referred to as treatment for a gummy smile Esthetic crown lengthening reshapes the gum and, when necessary, underlying bone to improve the appearance of the smile. This treatment is commonly used to address excessive gingival display, uneven gum contours, or short clinical crowns while maintaining periodontal health and harmony.

Dental Implant

An implant evaluation assesses whether a site is suitable for implant placement based on bone volume, anatomy, restorative goals, and overall oral health. This consultation may include radiographs or CBCT imaging and helps determine timing, site development needs, and the most predictable treatment approach.

Extraction and Grafting

Often referred to as “bone grafting”. Extraction and ridge preservation are performed to remove a tooth while minimizing post-extraction bone loss. Bone grafting and protective measures at the time of extraction help preserve ridge dimensions and improve future restorative or implant options.

Sinus Grafting

Sinus grafting is used to increase bone height in the upper posterior jaw when the sinus limits implant placement. This procedure creates the foundation needed for future implants by developing sufficient bone in an area that often lacks adequate vertical volume.

Ridge Augmentation

Ridge augmentation is performed to rebuild areas of deficient bone caused by tooth loss, infection, trauma, or long-term resorption. The objective is to improve ridge form and volume so the site can better support implant placement and long-term restorative success.

Treatment Planning Session

Need a Second opinion? A perio-restorative treatment plan coordinates periodontal and restorative care to support long-term function, health, and esthetics. This process helps sequence treatment appropriately, identify limitations early, and create a clear roadmap between the specialist, restoring doctor, and patient.

Bleeding Gums

Bleeding gums can be an early sign of gum inflammation or periodontal disease. A periodontal evaluation can help identify the cause and determine the right treatment before the problem progresses.

Gum Recession

Gum recession can expose root surfaces, increase sensitivity, and affect the appearance of your smile. Treatment may help protect the teeth, improve comfort, and support long-term gum health.

Periodontal Disease

Periodontal disease is an infection of the gums and supporting bone that can lead to tooth loss if left untreated. Early diagnosis and treatment are important to help control the disease and preserve oral health.

Missing Teeth

Missing teeth can affect function, appearance, and long-term stability of the bite. A specialty evaluation can help determine whether dental implants or site development procedures are needed.

Bone Loss

Bone loss in the jaws can occur from periodontal disease, tooth loss, infection, or trauma. Careful evaluation helps determine whether grafting or other treatment is needed to rebuild support for future restoration.

Loose Teeth

Loose teeth with severe damage or advanced bone loss may require specialty evaluation. When a tooth cannot be predictably treated, treatment planning can focus on extraction, replacement options.
